Del Ray Beach State Recreation site is one of several Northern beaches that allows driving on the beach. So if you're looking for a quiet day at the beach, consider driving north to Fort Stevens or south to Ecola Park, Cannon Beach, and others further south. It is reached by taking the Highland Lane exit from Highway 101.
